Alfonso Gugliucci
born in Italy, already as a child he found the piano something wonderful, after which the day came that he began to focus the instrument more deeply by taking private school lessons. After some years of very intensive piano lessons, he started to learning news techniques from chord scales theory, jazz harmony, jazz improvisation, and arrangement. As a young man, Alfonso started playing in a band that had toured many middle eastern countries, also in middle and north Europe. He had gathered so many experiences concerning different cultures their music and their musical instruments. It was then when he became inspired by the film music, in the beginning, his music was recognized by the Bavaria Film Studio in Germany. Alfonso also worked in collaboration with other composers as
William Davis (USA)
or some of the great Gospel-jazz musicians such as
Karen Edwards (USA).
But the heart of Alfonso's music has always had an extra beat for Jazz music.

1998
In co-operation with Hans Daimel (TV Composer) and Koch/Shams Production for Film music he composed the film music to a TV Documentation and Expedition film about the Rain forest in south America. The Label Koch/Shams and Ambros Seelos made also a production of CDs, called "Expedition" with the participation of the famous percussionist Hossam Ramzy, who has worked with artists such as Peter Gabriel, Robert Plant and Jimmy Page (Led Zeppelin).
2011 The famous Italian director Sir Andrew Molaioli ( Award winner for Best Picture 2007 Italy) chose an interpretation and Alfonso's musical arrangement on piano of the song " Foolish Heart" by Victor Young" for his Movie " il Gioiellino" a production of the Indigo Film Rome, currently in Italian Cinema. Of this Alfonso's interpretation of " Foolish Heart" the label "UNIVERSAL" did a production of CDs and downloads, is currently on some portals of iTunes, such as Holland, Italy, Brazil, and Spain. The CD (il Gioiellino) is sold today from Amazon and other music portals.New album "Love Espressions", it's famous songs jazz standards, re-arranged by Alfonso at the piano. The album title speaks for itself. After a few months Alfonso has published a single "Jack's Theme" by Dave Grusin.
2014 The young director and producer "Che Grant" made a short film: "One Night Only", which is now part of the Official Selection at the Portsmouth International Film Festival . It has Also Been nominated for Best Screenplay and Best Actress for Caroline Lawton. Che Grant, in a main part of his movies used the song "STARDUST," an interpretation and arrangement by Alfonso Gugliucci. New Maxi-Single 3 songs "Wise Moments" . A musical genre Film Soundtrack, currently available in all existing music portals worldwide. New album “Through Distances” with the participation of interpretations by of the great Jake Reichbart (Guitars), Florian Brandl (Flugelhorn / Trumpet) and Alberto Esposito (Drum / Percussion). New album with songs of the Christmas holidays, but not only, the interpretations go beyond the usual Christmas songs, in fact the title of abum is Merry "Blue" Christmas. New Maxi-Single 3 songs "Wise Moments" . A musical genre Film Soundtrack, currently available in all existing music portals worldwide.
2015 Alfonso participated with his piano arrangement with "Joey Bada $$" (a famous American rapper) the song is called "On & On", which took in only a few months more than three million listeners on Spotify. August 2015, in the ranking of the top 100 jazz albums of iTunes, the Album of Alfonso "Love Expressions" reached the place 6 in the Netherlands, in many countries of the far east also had a great success.
2016 Alfonso's song composition "Streets of Prague" is being introduced in the USA TV series “Con Man Productions LLC” October 2016 Alfonso made a new Maxi-Single "DREAMLAND PIANO" with six songs. It is modern classical music with shades of New Age. New Maxi-Single " WHO AM I" (4 songs) in collaboration with the great voice of Vincent Lewis, songwriter (USA)
